Incorrect Quote
4 months ago I got 3 quotes from different companies to relocate my goods from South Africa to Australia. South African Relocations was one of them which I selected to commission them for this transfer. Sadly after my goods were shipped I received a call that my rate has been changed due to many reasons (mostly blaming the airline) and now I have to pay an additional R58k on top of what I have paid already. South African Relocations did not contact me prior to the transfer indicating the price increase so I can make an informed decision and put me in a situation that I had no choice nut to pay. It seems this is the practice they follow so they get the account and then hit them with the much higher cost compare to other companies.

28 Jul 2023, 02:34No one has responded to my comments as what they do is quite common. give you a low rate, play with your emotions and warn you with additional cost if the increased cost is not paid. I had to pay double for what it was quoted and was forced to borrow to cover the cost as I am a 65 year retired single women and did not appreciate it.
