Disappointed

Be careful deing with SA Relocations. I was led to believe that these guys know what they doing and was deaply disappointed after a few interactions when it came to light that I have been misled. They have been appointed to facilitate my household effects, car and pet to Sydney Australia... Needless to say a year and a half later I'm still waiting on my pet to arrive, who is still in Cape Town with family.

While the items arrived in good order I was smacked with a hefty bill in Sydney which was supposed to have been sorted by SA relocations, yet sadly it has not. There CEO Kyle is ************* aswell, having dealt with him directly he makes empty promises and quite frankly is not to be taken on his word, putting mildly.

I would not recommend dealing with South African Relocations, especially when it comes to Pet relocations.. To which these guys know absolutely nothing about.

To add to the lack of knowledge at SA Relocations, I was told that there is no way I can move my car to Australia because it would not qualify for a import permit. Instead they advised that I should sell the car or leave it in SA with a family member. I took matters into my own hands and did absolutely all the ground work resulting in me obtaining a import permit for my BMW e30 325i 1989 model. SA Relocations was shocked that I could obtain it.. Yet I just followed the standard procedures as per the Australian Gov requirements.. Which shows me they lacked that know how and lacked the customer service to go the extra mile and find out. I still paid premium dollar to them for the getting it into the container and over to OZ.

If I had to do it over again.. I would seriously not make use of South African Relocations.

This is my experience and all I can say is be careful, proceed with caution!
