AVOID GETTING **********

TO AVOID AT ANY PRICE! I have contracted SA Relocations for a removal from Cape Town SA to France. I have been sold a service that was supposed to be for a certain price and time - 3 months delivery of my goods door to door. At the end of the day it took 8 months instead of 3 and I paid almost the double. LOTS OF HIDDEN PRICES!!!!!! The moment the goods left South Africa, there's been no follow up from SA Relocations. First, my container got stuck in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, for some kind of customs delays and the Dutch company who was SA Relocations's partner in Europe have charged me almost as much as what SA Relocations had charged me as a total price to release my shipment from customs. I have contacted SA Relocations several times asking them to manage their partner, a company I did not chose, and expressing my outrage for being charged extra - at first they pretended negotiating but from the emails I kept receiving from the Dutch company, it became clear that they were only pretending and such negotiations were not taking place. I had no other choice than to pay if I wanted my goods delivered. Then SA Relocations themselves ripped me with a consequent amount of extra charge for the fluctuations in the exchange rate - for the 8 months that have passed from the moment I paid them for a service to the moment they were about to deliver the exchange rate between euro and rand had changed indeed quite significantly and regardless the fact that the delays where not of my doing, they were at my expense. I ended up paying double for the service that they have quoted and I it took 87 mails pushing and debating to finally get my things. RUDE, DISHONEST, UNPROFESSIONAL!
