South African Human Rights Commission prefers high profile cases and not individual cases

This Commission is only interested in high profile cases. It does not take individual cases seriously. I went there to seek help when my employer the Department of Labour refused to submit my medical aid subsidy application to the Government Employees Pension Fund. This was late last year. Even though this wS I. Violation of my right to access to health they simply said they could not help me. Another gentleman was also discriminated against at work on 5he basis of his medical condition -bi Polar- and was dismissed. The SAHRC said they could not help him. But surprisingly, the ever publicity seeking SAHRC, has been to court on a number of times this year already in pursuit of high profile cases like hate speech etc etc etc.
