Unpaid stipends

I am in need of assistance, I am under a graduate programme with South African Council for Graduates Co-operatives, I have not received my stipend for two months now, and this is the latest communication they have sent

1. Programme continuation

Learners are encouraged to make means to continue with the programme if possible, despite the non payment so as to obtain the experience and exposure you needed to obtain during the course of the programme.

Learners are not being forced to be in the workplace if they cannot afford to.

However, please do communicate with the office (to Rosslin via email *** and WhatsApp ***) should you not be continuing with the programme so that we may account for all learners accordingly.

2. Stipend payments

Payments due to you for the previous months will be paid upon receipt of funds from the SETA.

3. Timesheets and reports submission

Should you be continuing with the programme, please do ensure that you submit your monthly timesheets and reports. However, this doesn't guarantee receipt of stipend at the end of each month.

4. N6 TVET Diploma certificate at the end of the programme

Should the programme come to an end, you will still be able to obtain your Diploma through assistance from your college. It is important that you keep record of work done in your logbook and obtain a letter of completion from your employer. You can then share these documents with your college for assistance in getting your ND.
