SACE: A Disgrace to the Teaching Profession

On March 25th, I sent my documents via courier to Mrs. Nkel Yvonne Lechaba at the South African Council of Education's head office in Pretoria to update my SACE certificate. This marks the second time I have had to take this step, as their online portal has consistently failed to allow me to upload my documents successfully. The urgency of this update is critical for my employment, prompting me to reach out to their office to confirm that everything was in order, especially since a previous document was lost and my certificate was not updated. After receiving a response indicating that my documents had not been received, I provided proof of the courier receipt and detailed the situation to various department heads, expressing my concerns about the apparent negligence. This ongoing issue raises questions about the systemic challenges faced by educators, as I struggle to navigate a process that should be straightforward. I urgently seek assistance in resolving this matter, as I cannot afford to repeatedly send documents that seem to vanish. Please help me and the many unemployed victims that stay silent with the treatment they receive at the South African Council of Education!
