Failure to Respond: SACE Ethics Complaint Ignored Despite Follow-Ups”

I am raising concern regarding the lack of response from the South African Council for Educators (SACE) on a formal complaint submitted on 21 January 2026 and followed up on 9 February 2026.

The complaint relates to the professional conduct of an educator and raises serious concerns regarding learner wellbeing and adherence to ethical standards. Despite multiple follow-ups, no acknowledgement or status update has been provided to date.

It is concerning that a regulatory body responsible for upholding professional standards in education has not responded to a matter of this nature. This raises questions about accountability and the effectiveness of the complaints process.

As a parent, I expect that complaints impacting learner welfare and educator conduct are treated with the urgency and seriousness they deserve. The current lack of response is unacceptable.
