Concern Regarding SAB Employees at Sandton Gautrain Station

I would like to bring to your attention an ongoing issue involving a group of SAB employees who regularly gather at the Sandton Gautrain station after working hours.

For months now, I have observed these employees engaging in daily drinking sessions next to the liquor store at the station. While socializing after work is understandable, the behavior displayed is concerning. The group is often loud and disruptive, engaging in singing, chanting, and dancing well into the evening. This creates an uncomfortable environment for commuters who are simply trying to get home after a long day.

Additionally, they frequently leave behind litter, including empty alcohol containers and plastic cups, contributing to the station’s untidiness. This not only reflects poorly on SAB employees but also raises concerns about the company’s commitment to responsible behavior.

As someone passionate about employee wellbeing, I am also concerned about the long-term effects of this habit on the employees themselves.
