INADEQUATE PRODUCT SUPPORT

As I keen birdwatcher I bought a birding programme from South African Birding CC which worked perfectly well. After about four years the programme became dysfunctional and required re-registration. I followed the online instructions to re-register without any success. I then mailed SA Birding and was informed that I need to buy an upgraded version of the program for another R300. After explaining to a person, Disiree Gibbon, I was told that Windows does not support the version I have any longer. I could not understand that because the same version was running trouble free on another computer of mine. After several mails and phone calls a woman, Ann, told me that she will end the call and is not prepared to talk to me regarding the problem. She then ended the call. SA Birding is not prepared to resolve the problem and uses unacceptable reasons for not being able to backup their own product but still wants to sell upgrades. All bird enthusiast should be warned not to purchase any such programmes from SA Birding for they are unable to give the needed support towards the programmes they sell. I also recommend that the SA Birding staff should go on a course where good manners are taught
