Best 4x4 Rentals in SA

We rented a 4x4 vehicle from South Africa 4x4 in Oct 2015 for a 6 week trip through Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi and Tanzania. Before we set off we visited all 4x4 rental companies in Johannesburg. I found that South Africa 4x4 was the most helpful, willing to assist with extra equipment, route planning without asking a cent. The Toyota Hilux we had was well prepared, serviced and extremely well equipped. We brought a lot of extra equipment with from Germany but did not need. They have though about it all. We had no problems with border crossing. A couple of times we needed assistance with accommodation along the way and we could contact Carel and he would gladly advise. You could see that he has travelled Africa many times before and is a wealth of knowledge which is more than willing to share.
