Outstanding service !!!

SUPERB service. I recently purchased a full CDJ + MIXER set up, after months of searching.. I ended up getting the Denon SC5000's and X1850 mixer after seeing soundselects amazingly low pricing on the 3 products. In addition to this set up they had a great quality flight case custom made for me, for this set up, which came at a highly competative rate compared to ready made, mass produced, flight cases.

Where the service quality really showed was when 1 of the players was experiencing an issue. There was a difference in BPM between what was showing on the player and the actual output. After much trouble shooting between me and Ronny (who i will chat more about later in the post), Ronny put me in touch directly with a guy from Denon who eventually gave me an answer to the question. It turned out to be a hardware issue that Denon were aware of and the player needed to be returned and swapped. Bear in mind i live in CPT and both these guys are based in JHB. They managed to source me a replacement within 1 HOUR of finding the issue, i was absolutely amazed at how far out their way they went for me to rectify the issue immediately. Soundselect went and got the unit from somewhere else and met me at the shop for an instant no hassle replacement. All the employees at the Cape Town branch were extremely friendly, really easy to talk to and you can tell they love to chat about DJ equipment, exactly what you need when youre looking to buy new equipment ! every question i had they had an answer, no matter the equipment. They showed me around the store, showing me ALL their stock before me needing to shoot back off home. For that reason i HIGHLY suggest you go instore and find out for yourself how good the Soundselect team are.

This was all made very much possible by an employee called Ronny, a guy who is very much involved in the music scene in South Africa. He was there from me making the initial enquiry all the way to me receiving the full set up and flight case. He has ensured that i have received the absolute BEST service possible while also being a good person along the way, being extremely polite and friendly. Ronny is a prime example of how employees should operate in the retail space. i cannot give enough praise to him.

Quite a lengthy review but a much deserved one. Soundselect is an example of retail done right. I will buy as much of the equipment i ever need from Soundselect after this experience. Caring, efficient, amazing prices and a whole team willing to give you their best !
