Free replacement parts.

Today I had the kind of experience that comes along once in a lifetime. I own a pair of Bose AE-2 headphones. I was happy to pay a bit more and get a good pair as I use them a lot. Eventually after 2 years of intense use, travelling in suitcases, in backpacks, on airlines and being exposed to various hardships, the one foam cushion split open. I had resigned myself to replacing them and was prepared to go out and pay for a new set. I went to the Dion Wired store where I bought them and mentioned to the sales person that the previous ones had split and I needed to replace them. Totally unexpectedly he encouraged me to go to the Bose store and get a replacement cushion. This morning I packed my broken headphones in a bag and set off for the Bose Store in Rosebank. The shop assistant was incredibly friendly, well spoken and efficient. In less than 30 seconds after I pulled out my damaged headphones he identified the problem, walked over to a locker removed the damaged parts and clipped in place the brand new ones. When I presented my credit card he simply shook his head and said \It's okay". I was honestly expecting to pay a few hundred rand so getting them free totally blew me away."""
