Soulstice Spa nightmare!!

I called in to book a hot stone massage for my mother, a foot scrub and full manicure with gel and extensions. I explained all this to the consultants named Gugu and she assured me all was booked accordingly.

When my mother was due to her treatment they placed her in a waiting room for 15min even though we arrived 30min earlier- dona total of 45min waiting. The hot stone massage was great she enjoyed it, however thereafter it was a complete disaster.

The foot scrub was not done, instead she only had them soaked and put cream on. When she queried, the lady simply told her she’s doing what she was told and my mom must deal with it.

Then the full manicure I requested turned out to be just nail polish, no gel, no acrylic or extensions, no machine to dry the nails either!!! I paid R500 for nail polish? Again when she queried she was told they only do what they told and she must deal with it. The session was meant to be an hour and it only took 40min!

This was supposed to be for my moms birthday and we had other plans after the Spa... needless to say with all the incompetence the sessions ran an hour late than the stipulated times due to “waiting for service “.

When I complained I was told I can address it with the seniors who never came. I will advise anyone to never go there if it’s meant for a special treat! They have no idea what they doing.
