Do not trust anyone!
We are very disappointed. In December the Soukop agent said that the buyer of our home got a full bond by the bank, everything is in place to go forward. In the meantime she only got a 80% approved bond. We were mislead by this real-estate agency and their attorneys thinking all is well. They send us emails in January stating that the purchase price is secured and we can start packing in 3 weeks time. So we did start packing like they said, 80% of our stuff is in boxes stacked in the guest room. We are living out of boxes for 2 months now. At the same time we were in the process of purchasing a new property. We paid the transfer costs of R97 800 to the attorneys. The sellers were also getting ready to get their house and things in order for us to purchase their house. We were all waiting for the purchaser of our house to get a full bond. Now after all the struggles to get a full bond for the purchaser, the deal is off because she admitted to us that she can't afford it. She signed the offer to purchase on the 04/12/2025. Waisted 4 months where we could have had a genuine buyer. This company and their attorneys were dishonest and ***********. We will NEVER do business with them ever again. 😡😡😡
