Worst experience

So I went to Souk a restaurant/lounge in August for the first time on a Thursday night and I got kicked out suddenly with no explanation. I waited outside for about an hour until a friend came down to tell me that apparently one of the waitresses said that I had tried to pick pocket them! I was beyond surprised and hurt by this because I have never been defamed in such an ugly way. They said they had no footage of this and that I would never be allowed to enter anywhere in Cape Town because they are that powerful. I got to work the next day and I called Souk so I could speak to the manager Jason, Dominique told me I should call back on Tuesday cause he wasn’t around cause it was his birthday. That got me annoyed because that showed me that they really didn’t care about me and the service they provide. So I called back on Tuesday and I spoke to both Jason and Dominique. Jason the manager who kicked me out basically told me that they did me a favor cause they could have called the cops which I said they should have, and he said it’s whatever now I must just get over it. No apology whatsoever. Spoke to Dominique and she told me that their workers come first and their word is always right and they should always protect them. “What about the customer whose paying to be there?” She said sorry but that’s how it is. Peter, I went back to Souk 2 weeks ago (on a Saturday)to basically face my demons (because I was still traumatized by the experience) and the very nice bouncers at the door who I had spoken to when I was kicked outside rememberd me and I was happy because that meant the waitress who framed me with the disrespectful manager would hopefully remember me too. We sat outside with no assistance then found a waiter who assisted us. We ordered bottles and after that order, we were transferred to the lounge and Jason came to check up on us, and we were given a business card to call them whenever we come through again and all this just because of our overly priced bottles that we ordered. BUT still NO APOLOGY. SOUK is a great vibe with service only based on the amount of money you’ll be spending.
