SOTHEBY'S REFUSING TO REFUND DEPOSIT!

The agents & staff at Sotheby's Cape Town are extremely rude & unprofessional. I had unfortunate dealings with Michele Ressel & Chad Shapiro in relation to the refund of my deposit. Although the lease terminated in May 2022, they have failed to refund my deposit which was to be paid by no later than 21 June 2022 in terms of the written lease agreement which Sotheby's drafted and presented to me. I have been sent from pillar to post, my messages & calls ignored & have now been forced to take the legal route to force them to repay my deposit. Sotheby's has made every excuse and delayed with their obligations. Having dealt with other agencies in CPT, this is by far thee worst experience! They have also indicated that they will be deducting R8,000 from my R29,000 deposit but have not provided any statements to explain the basis of this deduction. BE WARNED!
