This company hounded me to sell my property because of it's uniqueness: a decommissioned nuclear missile silo that I had spent 20 years restoring. <br> I agreed to sell, but with a 3% fee because:<br> 1. The property will sell itself. And it did, it went viral on TV and print media.<br> 2. I offered sole agency.<br> 3. I provided every photo they used.<br> 4. The agent was acted as buyer's and seller's agent.<br> Below is the agent's email to me confirming Sotheby's fee.<br> \If we do a sale and another agent aside from me I will have to pay them 2.5-3% additional. If I bring in the buyer I will be honorable and cut the sales commission down to 4.5% and please keep in mind I have to split this with my firm's broker.
