Worst Service of any Sorbet

A group of 3 friends had booked for Sorbet Point Mall in Sea Point, to get our mani's and pedi's done for our Holiday in Dubai. We specifically called to book 1 month in ahead, to ensure that we could all be booked together, and we booked at Point Sorbet as we know the set up of the store that it is large enough to have our nails done together (normally one friend goes to Camps Bay, me to Cape Quarter and the other to the Gardens Centre Sorbet stores, so we are fami**** with the service levels, and etiquette of Sorbet and are all avid supporters of the Sorbet Group).

We called 2 days in advance to confirm the booking, and check whether we were allowed to bring champagne (as a girls day treat). All was in order with the booking and we were told that they would offer us champagne no need to bring. When we arrived at Sorbet, we were left waiting for 15 - 20 minutes and ignored by the front desk initially, one person was told they can be seated (11:20 and the booking was for 11:00) and the other 2 of us were to wait for our nail techs. Okay we believed this was just a delay which is quite normal, so we waited a bit. They then advised us we wouldn't be seated together, when the salon was practically near to empty (and clear to us 3 seats available in both sections..).. which we found odd, as we did make it clear during the entire booking process this was what we wanted. So eventually after we embarrassingly had to kick up a fuss, they made a plan for us to be seated together and have our pedi's done together, as booked. Finally at about 11:25 the 2nd nail tech arrived, and then eventually 5 - 10 minutes later the third person arrived. When we booked, we specifically requested if we can bring a bottle of champagne, and we were told not this is a service we offer to clients. Not once while we were at the salon did they offer tea, coffee or water. We had to ask for it , and actually felt like we were being demanding and got eyes rolled at us when we asked it. We were in the salon for almost 3 hours (and Lauren almost 5 hours) and therefore would expect refreshments to be a standard service (as per your other salons)? We then asked if one of the pedi's could have a scrub etc on the feet, and were told there is no time for it. I find this terribly insulting when you started my pedi 25 minutes late on your own clock, and now there is no time but you will continue to finish me up and be 'on time' for your next customer.

The attitude of the staff (front desk and nail techs) working there was unfriendly, unwelcoming, rude, and like nothing like i have experienced in another Sorbet Salon and from hereon forward I will never support the Sorbet in the Point Mall on principle that their customer service s****s are lacking. At no point were we being demanding or unreasonable with our requests, and since we are paying money to be in your store and there are many other stores which offer the exact same service (BUT WITH A FRIENDLY FACE AND SMILE) I have been left with a sour taste in my mouth.
