Unprofessional and Hostile Service at Sorbet Clearwater

Going to an establishment such as Sorbet for a ladies treat should be nothing short of absolutely splendid but what happened at Sorbet Clearwater shocked me, my partner and my mother-in-law beyond words. We made a booking with Nozipho on Thursday the 19th of August. We specifically asked if the Women's month special is still running and Nozipho confirmed that the special was still on going. We then proceeded to book 2 slots for the R690 special and a quick mani pedi for my partner (i.e. a simple buff and clear polish, no gel or any other form of coloured nail polish) charged at R280. We arrived at our appointment at the time allocated to us. We were met with hostility and unfriendly faces. My nail technician, Nicky, complained during my entire beauty treatment about how she didn't understand why we came at the time that we came and that she needed to leave soon. She did an armature job on my nails which have now begun to peel already. My mother-in-law's facial was all of 30 seconds with the beautician only doing a cleanse on her. When we asked why this was the case, we were told that they didn't have time and that that's all they could do for us. Nicky's boyfriend was outside waiting for her and she kept standing up during my treatment to go and attend to him instead of fully committing to the service we had asked for. To add insult to injury, Both the ladies colluded and **** to to my partner saying we had treatments done on us that never took place. Nozipho intentionally used the time that I was in my facial treatment to corner my partner into paying for services that never took place. My partner was told that we had gel nail polish put on our toes which is not the case because the nail polish smudged before we even left the beauty bar. I had my feet on the floor the entire time my nails were getting done, with no towel being offered to me to create a barrier between the cold floor and my feet. As if all of this isn't bad enough, Nicky left without completing my treatment because her boyfriend was waiting for her. I have never in my time of practicing self grooming and beauty therapy been exposed to such disastrous and mediocre service. More than R3000 spent at Sorbet and we have nothing but botched manicures and pedicures to show for it. Oh and one of the staff members did try to reprimand them about the over charging and told Nozipho that it was incorrect but she was hushed and told to mind her own business. This goes to show that this was intentional ******ion, ******* and ********ity.
