Sorbet the Grove: Appearance **************

On 30 November 2017 I purchased a gift voucher from Sorbet Glenfair for my friend’s birthday. What was supposed to be very a gift of love and pampering turned out to be a horrific nightmare for my friend. She went to Sorbet in The Grove in 10 March 2018 to have her nails done. Although she booked only a basic treatment the shop was under the impression that she was coming for a more elaborate treatment. The lady assisting her had an instant mood change and rep**** in Sotho to the reception that this was a waste of her time. Unbeknown to the lady my friend speak and understand Sotho, the Sorbet employee then went on speaking in Sotho to her colleagues. During this conversation they were speaking about other clients. This is rude and unprofessional. To add injury to insult, exactly two days after her treatment her nails started to peel off. Needless to say that I was extremely upset when she told me about this. We requested the contact details of the manager of the Grove Sorbet which is apparently not permitted. She then wrote a complaint to Sorbet head office, which to this day has not been acknowledged. This is totally unacceptable, how can any business allow any kind of treatment towards any client and how can a franchise like Sorbet just let it be without any investigation.
