SORBET LA LUCIA
I went for a 'treat' to Sorbet La Lucia on 10 December 2021 post operation on my Shoulder in order for a very special spoil. I asked for tips and gellish on my finger nails, I was horrified by the treatment, all 10 cuticles were bleeding from the buffing - so she stopped the bleeding using acetone. I have attached pics of what my nails looked like when I got home as well as 2 days later as they were scabbing and still extremely tender, even in plain water - is this what I paid R550.00 for??? I also had a pedi - this lady was lovely and did a great job, but by then I was so traumatized and in shock that I opted for an express pedi as I couldn't wait to get out of there. These treatments cost me R1 030.00 - copy of receipt attached. I asked numerous times for a copy of my invoice and surprise, surprise, I am still waiting.... I made contact with the La Lucia management on numerous occasions, but they kept pushing me off to say they had escalated it to their customer care office, and it was out of their hands.. I tried calling the complaints dept, but their 'lines were down'. I also did try to find out who the owner is, as I am in sales and felt that before escalating this externally, that she has a right to know what is happening in her salon. Her name is Neerita Naidoo. Then, surprise, surprise, I received a voucher for R150.00 - copy attached. no apology - kindly see email below. 12 DEC 21 RIGHT HAND.pdf Therefore this is telling me that they are just trying to get rid of me, what am I supposed to do with that? I have also now been told by independant nail technicians that under NO circumstances should I have these tips soaked off, as I will most likely get infections on my nails as they have been so brutally damaged. who is going to cover the doctors bills should this happen?? I have also been told that apparently on the back of Sobert's flyers it states that 'should you not be 100% happy with your treatment, you don't need to pay?"
