Sorbet gift card money not loaded

Gift card valid for 3 years was purchased for me 2 Christmases ago by my husband, he paid cash, I have the card but there is no money loaded on said card, they now want proof of purchase, it was a cash payment. I have the card in my possession. Their system shows no money was loaded on it. No transactions done on card, card is blank. But I basically have to give them a affidavit and and and.... so much hassle for a refund. Bad business Sorbet!

Can be contacted on ***. Phoned your support centre, they want an affidavit because it was a cash purchase, if time is taken off work, salary will be lost. So not helpful
