Sloppy Sorbet!

I have always been a big fan of supporting Sorbet & treating myself to pedicures & manicures, however my visits to Sorbet have been less frequent due to high pricing. My nails looked terrible & one nail had broken particularly badly, so I decided to treat myself for my birthday & get my nails done at Sorbet.

I wanted an Ombre French acrylic done and the technician couldn't do that so she did an acrylic overlay with gelish. No nail repair was done on my badly broken nail. I was horrified when it came to paying R575 for my set but brushed it off for my birthday. On closer inspection of my nails, they had bubbles and were bumpy & lumpy. By the time it was my birthday (3 days later) I broke an additional nail and after another day passed, the original broken nail was breaking again.

I requested a refund within their policy but was met with an apathetic attitude. The refund process is more admin work than anything else & quite frankly a schlep! Today I have 2 broken nails, 2 chipped nails, 2 bubbly nails & 2 lumpy nails. I wish I could give 0 stars for Sorbet & their service!

I discourage anyone from using Sorbet & encourage you to use local nail technicians services which are far more reasonably priced & much more accommodating to clients.
