Shocking and inexperienced nail technician

I went in for an Anti-Aging Manicure about 2 weeks ago. I have short nails and they have vertical lines on the thumb, little finger and ring finger on both hands. The the****** filed my nails even shorter and while she was filing, they began to split vertically. She continued with the manicure (which I must say I was disappointed with. Everything was rushed and I really didn't enjoy my visit). My nails have continued to split and it is so sensitive in places that I have to put plasters on those fingers hoping that they won't split further. And yes, I do take my vitamins and folic acid and biotin. I bought a voucher for my Mom and my little girl, but I don't think I want to use it anymore. My Mom's nails are also brittle and she is 78.
