Poor management of a lost item enquiry

I reported loss of a Louis Vuitton sachet with two pairs of R14500 valuable earrings to the Menlyn Maine Sorbet store manager. The manager poorly handled my enquiry and was very condescending and ****. She initially said that she is not allowed to let customers view cameras footage. She then said she would view, and also ask her staff group if they found the item. She then responded to say that she viewed the footage and there wasn’t any suspicious behaviour from the time I was at the store until I left. I then insisted again to say I need to view for myself for my peace of mind, and she said the cameras are broken and not working. How are they now broken when she said she saw nothing when she viewed? She then said she would check with the owner, and let me know on the coming Monday. I followed up on Monday, and nothing was resolved with the cameras.
