Poor customer service and misinformation by staff at Brooklyn Sorbet Store

I called Sorbet Brooklyn Mall and spoke to Charlene. I made booking for my Gelish pedi for Sunday the 30th October 2016 and whilst on the phone I asked her if they will accept the vouchers I had.

She explained that they will accept the Candi and Co voucher for the treatment I was booking. When I got there, I was first and at 8:52 i.e 8 minutes before my appointment and I was welcomed by unprofessional assistance by the Admin Lady who said they can only let me into the store when they open at 9 am. I then had to look for a place to wait. A minute after i left their door another client came in and they opened for her and let her sit on the waiting area, I could tell by the facial expressions that they knew her which means she is there often.

This is unacceptable as the customer service should be same for all, since we are all paying, first time or frequent.

Once my pedi was done and I went to pay, I took out my voucher to present it to the Admin, she asks me if I saw the name of the store on the card and why am I presenting it to her. I told her that when I made my booking i spoke to Charlene who confirmed that i would be able to redeem it. She said she will not accept my voucher as it is not for Sorbet. I asked her if Sobert and Candi and Co don't work together, she spoke rudely and said they do but she will not take my voucher I must take it to Candi and Co.

I feel this is appalling service and because even though the voucher was not to be redeemed there, nothing gave the Admin a right to speak to me rudely as she did. It is her responsibility to clear the misinformation that I received from a Nail Tech who answered the phone and did my booking.

The service was indeed poor and as a visit time at the store am surely not going to be visiting the store again.
