Nail Appointment

I made an appointment for my nails at Sorbet Bluehills on Tuesday, 30 May 2017 at 16h10. I wanted acrylic tips done.

When I arrived the receptionist was friendly and showed me the cubicle to sit. The nail technician greeted me and I greeted her. She started filing my nails and preparing to glue on the tips.

I noticed that she didn't clean her tools as well. She didn't spray my nails with the sanitiser which i asked her about. She then proceded to glue on the tips. The nozzle on the glue bottle was cut very wide open and the glue was running out when the nail technician put the glue on the nail tip. She glued the tips on my fingernails and I told her the glue was too much. She then tried to wipe the excess away with a tissue which resulted in leaving bits of tissue behind under the fingernails. I asked her if she would clean this before proceding with the nails. She tried to clean the excess glue with nail varnish remover but it didn't help.

Afterwards she started to cut the tips with the nailtipper, then she wanted to remove the 3 tips that were soaked in glue on my right hand. It is then that I started to get really annoyed, it seemed like she was not aware of what she was doing. I asked her to remove the other tips as I was not happy.

She proceeded to do this. She removed the tips and cleaned my natural nail with sanitiser after I asked her several times.

I stood up and said to the receptionist that I am very unhappy and walked out. She apologised but I still don't think the level of service is good. It is expensive to get a set of nails done by Sorbet and trust me I have used Sorbet before at this branch. I don't want to complain but the level of service at that branch was bad.

Did the nail technician receive sufficient training for her role? I don't think so.

Anyway please try and train your employees so that they can deliver quality work.

Thank you

Charmaine Gradidge

Mobile **********
