Misleading marketing and promotional offers

This is now the second time within 6 months that Sorbet Drybar has a promotion that borders on misleading marketing!I am SO fed up!

This morning I was sent this text message: Book a blow out and receive a free Olaplex treatment at Sorbet Tygervalley Drybar. Call *** to book. Ts&Cs Apply. SMS STOP to opt out.

I received this text this morning,Friday,28th May 2021 at 10:47am.I made a booking for Sunday and received the confirmation text.Two minutes later I was contacted by one of the staff members who in turn told me that the promotion only ran for today(28th May 2021!)

WHAT was the point of sending the promotional text today???And it wasn’t just sent to me,but to my sister who also goes to Sorbet Drybar, Tygervalley.

Surely this has to stop? Jack up your marketing team,communicate with your clients by giving us the dates promotions would run so that we won’t be caught offguard(I myself has been burnt by trusting that a promotion was just that,a promotion,instead of being misled).To say that I’m disappointed doesn’t do this situation justice at all.

I am SO done with Sorbet Drybar ,Tygervalley which is a shame since all the stylists are amazing.

This after I had 3 KST treatments done at the end of 2020,one didn’t take at all,but I didn’t complain and didn’t ask for my money back.R1500+ down the drain.But now I understand what Sorbet truly thinks of their clientele -collateral damage;that’s what we are..Shame on you.
