If I could rate them lower than 1 star, I would.

<p>This review has been a long time coming, so be prepared for a long read.<br /> <br />I visited Sorbet for the first time at the beginning of 2016, I made an appointment to have my nails done with Biosculpture Gel, fast forward a few weeks later and I'm back at the salon to soak the gel off and apply a new set. <br /> <br />To my horror, when the old set of gel was removed there was a fungus growing on one of my nails. <br /> <br />Now, anyone who knows me well will tell you that I am an extremely hygienic person and I look after my nails very well. Whenever I do my nails, I never leave product on them for more than three to four weeks and also never fill or touch-up more than once in between new sets. I also don't live in an extremely humid or moist area, not to I wash dishes or leave my hands wet for extended periods of time, I always clean and dry my hands and nails thoroughly. <br /> <br />I have been applying biosculpture gel to my nails for the last five years and have never had a fungus on my nails nor my toenails. My mother has been applying the same gel to her nails for longer than I've been alive, she also works in a kitchen with food and every single day and has only ever experienced a fungus on her nails once in her entire life. <br /> <br />The only logical conclusion that I could come to was that they used dirty equipment on my nails.<br /> <br />Anyway, I left the salon fuming, but decided not to make a scene. I emailed the owner who later phoned me to apoligize, but also reassured me that I couldn't possibly have gotten a fungus from her salon. She did however offer to do my nails for free the next time I came in, once the fungus was taken care of. (I never got the free treatment) <br /> <br />After a couple of months, I decided to go back to the same branch. I'd let my nails grow out completely and treated my nails thoroughly to ensure that the fungus was totally out of sight. I had my nails done with the same biosculpture gel once again. Fast forward a few weeks later and I was back to soak off and re-apply a new set of gel. <br /> <br />Once again, the gel was removed and this time I had a fungus growing on two of my fingernails on the opposite hand. This time I could not contain my frustration, the manager of the store could see I was upset and urged me to explain why, which I did. Within a few minutes, the owner of the store was once again reassuring me about the cleanliness of their store and equipment and how it's probably something that I'm doing wrong and that's why I keep getting fungus on my nails. She did give me a free bottle of fungus treatment and did offer me a free set of nails.<br /> <br />I won't be going back to have the free set of nails done though.</p>
