Harmful, unprofessional service

I booked a face wax with Bonnie for Thursday, 31 Aug at 16:30. She used wax all over the face even very close to my eyes, and remarked that I had a very sensitive skin. When she app**** wax close to my right eye repeatedly, it burned and was painful, but I thought it was the temperature of the wax only. When looking in the mirror, I was shocked to see how red and scarred my skin was on several areas. I asked Bonnie what could be app**** and she gave me an FNB plastic money bag with about 2,5ml of a substance to apply. I paid and left, even bought some Environ products. I app**** Burnshield to both cheeks and the scar under my eye. The next morning the scar under my right eye was purple and a scab had formed. The area was indented - a Grade 1 skin burn wound. I am a Professional Nurse and can diagnose that. I phoned the Salon and told them. They said I must return. I actually went back to request a refund that was offered to me without a word: admission of guilt was done and I was offered another FNB bag with a yellow powder, reputed to be mixed with water and app****. Once again unauthorised decanting, no identification nor expiry date , because they 'don't have samples'.

I had to visit a professional skincare salon today to obtain professional advice. They confirmed the scarring and prescribed a product.

I am presenting a research paper at a conference next week and I am furious about the scar, especially at this time!!
