Extremely Dissappointed!

I'v always wanted to go for an acrylic nail set.

So for my sister's wedding; I finally received the chance.

We went to Sorbet in Cavendish, made a booking about 2 weeks prior.

It was 3 of us ladies: Bride - Pedi + Mani Paint with nail art Made of Honour (Me) - Acrylic Ombre set Brides**** - Mani Paint

Sorbet stuffed up the booking royally by booking a "Soak Off" - none of us requested this nor did we need it - anyway, that was sorted but frustrating.

When I sat down for my acrylic set, i was asked what i wanted, but they could not accommodate for the colour, not sure why i was even asked then! She the proceeded to glue the tips and the file to the shape i wanted. When she started filing, she filed upwards pulling my natural so hard it felt like it was lifting from my nail bed, the pain was unbearable. Now because of the force she used, the false tips started the seperate from my natural nail. I knew this was going to be a problem because 4 days later - the nails started lifting. That treatment costed me R500.00, to only last me 4 days!!! I was told it would hold for 2 weeks.

I really hope other ladies have not received this kind of treatment :( And i really hope that i will be compensated for all the PAIN & SUFFERING I have endured.

For such a reputable place, i didnt expect that i would receive such cheap labor. I didnt think that i would need to think twice about going there, but it really discourages me from going to ANY SALON including SORBET in future.
