Clearwater Branch - If you want broken nails, go here.

Absolute worst nail treatment I have ever received. You are not treated like you are special in any way - you are told to go wash your hands and sit down. Thereafter the lady came with what was needed to remove the acrylic that was on my nails but instead of sitting and making sure that everything was fine she left my hands soaking in BOILING acetone while she sat in some backroom regardless of me trying to get her attention. When she did finally come back (after more than 30 minutes of leaving my hands in boiling acetone) she didn't even say anything to me but rather just started s****ing my nails while talking to her friend in another language next to her and completely ignoring the customer. She continued s****ing my nails and when the acrylic was off she enquired if I would be putting gel on next to which I responded no because I have another appointment in a week's time, however, she had butchered my nails so badly that she said if I had even washed my hands and my nails come into contact with water she was sure they would break! You would physically recoil if you saw the state my nails were in and they surely would break, however, this was not what ANYONE should expect when going to have your nails PROFESSIONALLY done. It was so bad that even the skin on my fingers was flaking! I was forced to put gel on my nails even though I have another appointment in a week's time when I will have to take it off so a real waste of money. I haven't even mentioned that had this happened at any other time I might have just let it go but my nails have been made extremely brittle and I was told they were going to break after I have specifically grown them out and IT IS A WEEK BEFORE MY WEDDING!! I will be recommending anyone and everyone to never get a Sorbet treatment, at least not one from the Clearwater Branch.

In addition to this atrocity, they subsequently charged me R370.

Good day Meghan,

We apologise for what has happened. That is not the Sorbet experience we want for any of our guests. We have escalated this to guest relations. A representative will be in contact with you to provide an amicable solution.

Kind regards,
