I'd like to express my concerns about a matter at hand. On Saturday 14 April 2018 , I took my car to Sooper Tyres in CNR 1st and 3rd ave town centre Mitchell's plain. I had a continuous funny noise from my car and it happened when I app**** brakes. When I got there the manager Lee Parker told me "a mechanic will test drive and tell you what the problem is". This guy drove my car within 2 minutes and said my back brakes needed to be replaced. None of them were checked as he just assed on the "noise" he heard. I awaited for a quote and it came to R1195.00. I paid that money because I was desperate and needed my car to be fixed. The guy replaced the brakes and did another test drive and said the car was fine. When I drove the car on the very same day out of the workshop it did the exact same noise and louder this time around. I couldn't take it back because it had been already 1pm and they'd close... Tuesday 17 April 2018 I decided to take the car back to them. A gentleman by the name of Nelson drove the car and immediately spotted the noise coming from the front brakes. I then left as I didn't have the same amount of money they requested from me. To resolve my matter I went to buy brake pads for my car which had cost me R395.00 and got someone to fix them for me. I am very unhappy about the service I received from Sooper Tyres and cannot believe that they hire bush mechanics to take chances with our cars. It is very clear that customer service is lacking and they clearly have no idea what satisfaction is. I'm utterly disgusted that I spent money that I never budgeted for and still had no joy! I would NEVER recommend anyone to go there. In fact the place can close down for all I care. They ******* customers.
