Xperia XA lasts for one day

On the 10th of August I decided to upgrade my cellphone contract with my service provider.

I received my new phone and it was working fine from the Wednesday evening 10/08/2016 around 6:00. I had just finished all of my updates and app downloads. This amounted to use 75% of my wifi contract's data (I was aware of the cost, and this is not the issue).

The next morning around 10:00 AM, the phone suddenly started to reboot. Not once, not twice....over and over until my battery was drained. I could not even switch it off or get a chance to put in my PIN.

I took the phone back to the Cellucity I got it from in Canalwalk (my quarrel is not with them, but with SONY).

It took exactly 7 working days for SONY to finally give an answer..."You can get a new phone".

Okay, yesterday I picked up my new phone. Happy to be up and connected again. The phone worked perfectly from Wednesday 24/08/2016. I had just finished all of my updates and app downloads...(can you see where this is going?)... This morning at 11:00 the phone started rebooting. My battery is almost drained.

Unfortunately shops like Cellucity have to follow procedure...I understand this...and I am willing to work with them, because those are the rules I agreed to.

What I didn't agree to was to purchase a SONY which lasts 1 day, spends 7 working days (that's 9 more days without a ****** phone).

I also have no time to drive out again, spend more parking money, reinstall all my apps to a borrowed phone (for some reason everything works on old, borrowed phones, but not on Brand New Sony XA's) , etc.

My downloads are normal apps: Uber, Skype, Facebook, Snapscan, Whatsapp, elevate, Memrise, Alexander Forbes App. No weird stuff.

A month ago I would always be the "No, I'm a Sony-guy" -person.

Today I am ready to completely distance myself.

Sony XA is a mess
