Good day,<br> <br> i upgraded my iPhone 5S to the Xperia Z3 compact in December 2014. i was skeptical to make use of it underwater as advertised in case something may go wrong. <br> On the 13/02/2015 i decided to give it a try. i went into the pool and put my phone no more than 15cm under water and noticed the screen started flashing so i took it out and left it to dry. when i tried to unlock the phone again, it never came back on. as i was so concerned about using it underwater i triple checked that the flaps was closed. the following week i took it to my provider (MTN) they assessed it and said that the water is beyond repairs and it is my fault because i did not close the flaps. in the interim i also called Sony and they advised to take it up with MTN.<br> <br> Not only have i paid for the past two months with no phone, i now have to pay R350 to get back the broken phone from MTN because it was my fault that the phone was damaged. <br> <br> THIS IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!<br> <br> I HAVE BEEN MORE THAN PATIENT. ALL I WANT IS A WORKING PHONE!<br> THIS WAS NOT MY ERROR.
