Waterproof/water resistant??

I got my Z3 last year end of November because of my tipe of work, sweating from cycling or jogging where i listen to music on my phone. They advertise that it is water resistant up to 1.5m under water and for 30 minutes. I have stood in the shower talking on the phone a few times before and also had it in the water and under the water to take photos and havent had any problems. About three weeks ago, having had the phone for not even 3 months, i went into the water, took a few photos and the phone hardly got wet on this occation. 10 minutes later i triied to unlock my phone with the unlock button and it felt like it gave in and nothing happened. This was after i got out the water. The phone was dead. i the. Took it to vodacom, my cellphone provider, where they booked it in for repairs. It was sent away for teo weeks and when it came back the person that halped me said they cant repair the phone. She told me the repair centre said it had water damage??? They wont replace the phone. And my other ports were seal. I wont take it into the water if the ports are open..... Logic<br> So now while im bsuy sorting this **** i got myself an iphone6 and its the best phone ever.
