Waterproof Phone - NOT SO MUCH!!!

I purchased a Sony Experia M4 Aqua Dual as my Samsung got ****** because I liked the idea of having a dual sim phone.<br> <br> As advertised by Sony it is IP67 rated meaning it is water and dust resistant, my phone accidently fell out of my top shirt pocket into a cooler box filled with ice and water.<br> <br> All the sockets were closed, I blew and extracted an possible water that may have got into the USB port and left the phone to dry for a day before trying to recharge and switch on again.<br> <br> PHONE DEAD!!! I Sent it into the repair centre and the report I got back is that it is water damaged...<br> <br> Why then advertise it as a water and dust resistant phone??????<br> <br> This is besides all the software issues I had before this event.<br> <br> Do yourself a favour and stay away from Sony Phones!!!<br> <br> WORST PHONE I HAVE EVER OWNED!<br> <br> I would go so far as to say give me a Nokia 3310 over a Sony because its a far superior phone.
