Waterproof phone is a gimmick

Z1 compact was sent in for assessment to the repair centre in South Africa, and it was determined that water got in to the phone through a port that i do no open. How they came to that conclusion is anyone's guess, but i am sure they thumb sucked that. I called the Repair centre to find out who to take this up with, they said Sony Mobile. I contacted Sony mobile, they said i should take it up with the repair centre. <br> i have been pushed from pillar to post, and am getting tired of this. I asked for the process taken in determining their conclusion, but have not had anything back from them yet. <br> According to the Sony Mobile support line, there was supposed to be a process that was supposed to be followed. but it doesn't look like the correct process was followed.<br> I am really disappointed in Sony, as I have been a Loyal Sony fan since my first Sony phone, in 2003. I still have all of them aside from the one that was ******, and they all work. So you can see that I look after my belongings. <br> According to the other forums, i am not the only person to have had issues with these phones.<br>
