waterproof my ass

I bought a Sony xperia z3 on contract, and after having the phone for 8 months, I finally got the courage to test the waterproof feature and take a picture under water. The phone then went totally blank and would not turn back on again. I am very disappointed with Sony. I love the phone, and have been recommending it to everyone I know, and I am now very embarrassed.
