water damage z3

So I thought it would be cool to use my new water proof phone to take pics in a shallow pool and thats when I saw I small bubble coming from my phone. Phone is dead..took it in for repair and they say it is rusted and beyond repair..Looks like the warranties doesnt even count in SA and there is no back up in Gauteng..I loved the phone but now I am paying for a phone I cant use because I am on contract and no one can do anything about it..now i am sitting with my old phone,again, for two years untill my next upgrade..really dissapointed and frustrated about this.
