sony z3 with water damage

Im writing this report on behalf of my girlfriend as she Doesn't have an acount on hello peter <br> The sony experia z3 is 2 months old we took it on a contract at mtn. The phone is being advertised as being waterproof and the first time it came into contact with water the touch screen stopped working after about 2 hours the screen died completely now im stuck with a broken phone as i have trouble booking it in at mtn I'll probably loose all my data on my phone <br> As a client i think the product is being false advertised and that it is a very poor product quality <br>
