We purchased a SONY XPERIA Z5 Compact Handset (R9899.00. Serial No. *** from Vodacom 4 U Somerset Mall on 21.11.15. Vodacom 4 U Complaints *** and since EC-04N5-3UUIER-***9), for our technologically astute grandson, as a Christmas gift. This cell phone was purchased for its camera specifications and its reputedly \waterproof"qualities. The SONY XPERIA Z5 Compact is ADVERTISED ON TV AS BEING \""WATERPROOF\"". IT IS NOT! The SXZC promises the same in its brochure as well as on its actual phone! My grandson took the phone to a depth of half a metre in a swimming pool only to have this so-called and falsely-advertised \""Waterproof\"" handset-screen start flickering - the screen cloud over (water) and the phone go dead! So much for it being waterproof. THIS IS FALSE ADVERTISING BY SONY! And so Sony is **********LY selling this cell phone and continue to market it"
