SONY Xperia Z3 is NOT waterproof and useless

I was falsely convinced that the Sony Xperia Z3 is a brilliant phone and I decided to get one with my Vodacom contract. Sony advertises this phone to be waterproof up to 1m for 30 minutes. I mean look at this advert [URL Removed] . What a load of *******. Luckily I was warned by a friend that this is not true. A few weeks ago I was fishing in the Transkei on the rocks with my Z3 in my pocket and a wave just splashed me a little bit wet. The phone was still working fine, but the Wi-Fi wasn't working anymore. I sent it in for repairs and they told me it's water damage and it's my problem, it's not covered by the warranty. How can you use it's waterproof ability as a selling point, but not cover it by the warranty? On top of it all, it's not a nice phone. I hated it from the day I got it.
