SONY XPERIA Z2 NOT WATERPROOF!!!

We have had our Sony Xperia Z2 about 6months now. In the beginning we were quite impressed untill 2weeks ago. We used the phone to take under water photos in our Aquarium (hence why we got the \waterproof"phone). I do not for one second doubt that the covers were closed as we both checked it twice before inserting the phone into the water. After the photo session we shared the photos and continued to use the phone as usual. The next day the phone started going into any and everything without even touching it. It became clear that there was water within the screen. By the third day the phone was still on but the screen was pitch black. We took it to vodacom and got it back saying it was irreparable and we cant be helped because the covers weren't closed. Now like i said... I KNOW those covers were properly closed and i expect Sony to do something about the fact that their \""waterproof phone\"" is faulty. But getting in touch with them is completely impossible. So i will definitely not recommend Sony to anyone ever again and we will take the matter further."""
