Sony Xperia waterproof- A Sham!!!

I had purchased my device (Xperia Z1 compact) around November 2014 and for the most part, the device functioned perfectly, excluding a few software glitches in freezing and camera problems. However i returned from Mauritius a week ago where for the first time i had tested the under-water/ waterproof capabilities of the phone. I adhered to Sony's rules of not submerging the device further then 1.5m under water and making sure that is was fresh water when submerging the phone. I took the device into a Jacuzzi where i took a few under water pictures. After about the fourth picture the phone went blank and stayed that way. <br> I am utterly disgruntled at my network provider (MTN) who informed me that my warranty is void and should i opt for them to repair the device then i shall be liable to repair fees in the region of R3000.00 and above. <br> I had adhered to every instruction that Sony stipulates prior to taking the device under water and there were no warning signs stipulating that any ports were open.<br> I now refuse to be a victim of Sony's lies and demand they contact me or else i will expose their ***** on the grandest scale i possibly can. <br>
