SONY EXPERIA Z3 FRONT SCREEN SHATTERED

I took out a contract out at Cell C a SONY EXPERIA Z3 which I wanted after seeing the drop test and water resistant tests done. This phone is not even 2 months old anyway upon taking my phone out to take photos at an accident scene the whole front glass shattered and the touch screen no longer works, I phoned Cell C immediately and advised them, they instructed me to send it to their repair center which I did. 1 1/2 weeks later I phoned to find out what has happened with my phone, I was told it has gone to SONY.... 2 weeks later I phoned again and still no response so I took it upon myself to phone Sony direct. Sony said they would come back to me regarding the phone. 3 weeks later i am told by cell c that it is going to cost me R 4500 to fix my phone which made me highly ****ed off. I phone Sony Direct again only to be told that my phone was never sent to them but to SSS in Boksburg where it is currently lying waiting for me to authorize the repairs. I will not pay R4500 to fix a screen which I did not break. I have over 70 pages of complaints regarding the shattered screens of the Z3 from all over South Africa, I think it is sad there is no help and communication from Sony.
