non water proof sony mobile phones, mis advertisin

I just got feedback from sony that my z1 is beyond economical repair, I made sure the ports were sealed to prevent water damage, however this is a waterproof phone, its the second time it has this damage in under a year, who can I call because sony just doesnt respond, worst service ever , I know the processes because im a cell phone specialist in the foschini head office
