NEW SONY XPERIA Z3 COMPACT NOT SWITCHING ON

My new Sony Xperia Z3 Compact phone is not even 2 months old and the phone does not want to switch on.<br> I have not even tried the phone underwater although they claim the phone is waterproof. If the phone does not want to switch on now for no apparent reason I dread to think what the phone will do once underwater. <br> <br> The phone did not fall or got bumped in anyway. The battery ran flat and upon charging it the top left red light switches on and then later turns to green. If I unplug the charger and connect again the screen switches on reflecting the charged percentage but that is it!<br> <br> I have tried the reset button where the sim card is and I have tried holding the on/off switch simultaneously with the volume but nothing. I was a happy Iphone customer for 6 years and I thought let me change for once to Sony and give it a try - I am very dissapointed in Sony and regret not upgrading to the Iphone 6. For the price of the Sony Z3 I expect not to have any problems with the phone. <br> <br> A very very dissapointed customer!<br>
