Faulty Phone Returned Without Being Fixed

My phone had a hair line crack on the screen and i submitted it to Sony following the advice of a sony agent. My phone was with them for more that 2months but strange enough my phone is returned without being fixed. The IMEI no is ***.<br> <br> This is really confussing, why would a phone be returned without being fixed. The phone broke on its own, there are no damages to the phone. From the time it got damaged I had only owned the device less then 3months. Can someone please assist me.
