False advertising

Sony Mobile claiming my Sony Xperia Z is water damage after advertising that you can take photos underwater.<br> <br> In December I tried taking a photo underwater in a pool as it was advertised on TV when I bought this phone. The phone is supposed to be waterproof or water resistant stating in the booklets that I received with the phone that I bought from Cell C. <br> If this was not the case I would have never taken photos underwater with my phone.<br> <br> Last Month the phone went in for repairs to the Sony Repair Centre. I received a call from Cell C to say I can collect my phone they cannot repair it as it is water damaged.<br> <br> I am extremely disappointed as this is false advertising and I am not happy with the response I got. I insist on urgent repairing of my phone, as this is quite an expensive model and I surely think that it is Sony`s responsibility to repair or replace it.<br>
